NEXT DREAM FORUM OPEN HOUSE—
The next Forum open house will take place on September 17th from 1:30-4:30PM at Marsha Hudson’s residence in west Santa Cruz. This month, rather than a distinct presentation, the Forum will open the floor to the discussion of dream-related topics of interest. Topics already suggested include the impact of dreams on the evolution of the species and how the media’s take on dreams in movies (think “Inception” or “Dreamscape”) affects the legitimacy of dream exploration for the general public. Or bring along other topics that you would like to explore. Hope to see you then!
FORUM MEMBER ACTIVITIES—
- Marsha Hudson is offering two eight-week projective dream groups beginning this fall. The first will start on Monday, September 11th, from 5:30-7:30PM at Marsha’s residence in west Santa Rosa. The second will start on Thursday, September 14th from 6:30 to 8:30PM in Los Gatos. - IASD will offer an online conference, “Illuminating the Path—PSI Dreaming for a Brighter World” from September 25th through October 9th Anyone joining IASD between August 1st and October 8 will have access to this conference for free. Check the IASD website for more information (www.asdreams.org)
- On October 6th Waking the Dreamer Within Festival will take place in Boulder, Colorado. The Festival is a celebration of creativity, imagination and the language of metaphor. The weekend nurtures authentic expression through workshops and group events featuring dreamwork, storytelling, poetry, music, art and the written word. It offers workshops, presentations and group activities all designed to enhance your connection with body, mind and spirit.
